AKHI 6th Mentoring 2009

Assalamualaikum, may you all are in good health and are blessed by Allah always insyaallah.

On the 9th of August 2009, AKHI Club has successfully organized AKHI 6th Mentoring which is the continues programme held throughout the year. The venue is at Taman Pertanian Bukit Cahaya, Shah Alam. The number of participants is about 70 people.

This is the second time AKHI organize it mentoring programme outside IIUM. The reason is mainly because, we want to expose to the mentees to the new environment as this could stimulate their learning process. More over, they could learn many new things and gain a lot of experience. The focus of this mentoring is Mathematics. They were given exercise on that subject to test their understanding with the guidance from mentors.

Besides, academics aspect, sahsiah aspect also were given priority. They were taught on the correct recitation of Al Fatihah as this is important because it is one of the pillars of solah. In addition, there were also games and outdoor activities during the evening.

Overall, this programme is a success given that it achieve the objectives of the programme. On behalf of AKHI Club, I would like to thank all the organizing committee members for their strong efforts and commitments throughout the programme. Something for us to ponder, when we work in a team or group, the most important elements are commitments and respect. Your have to give your full commitments to the teams and also you have to respect all other team members. Through this it will create strong bonding and lead to a successful team work. Don’t just critics on something rather try to understand it first than make a judgment. Another important thing to remember, in a team work do not be judgemental. It will create chaos and problems in the future.
